LYFE: A Year at a Glance
Louisiana Youth for Excellence (LYFE)
Funded by the Louisiana Governor's Office
The Louisiana Youth for Excellence (LYFE) Program is designed to empower youth through leadership development, life skills, financial literacy, mentoring, creativity, workforce readiness, and community engagement.
During the 2024ā2025 program year, Ruth Sisters Transitional House proudly served 30 youth, providing opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and positive life experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

Ruth Sisters Transitional House remains committed to expanding the LYFE Program by increasing family engagement, strengthening community partnerships, and providing additional opportunities that prepare youth to become confident leaders and successful members of their communities.
