We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to transforming lives in Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes. Our work empowers men transitioning from incarceration, at-risk youth ages 13–17, and underserved families through mentorship, life-skills training, and trauma-informed community support. At Ruth Sisters Transitional House, we walk alongside individuals and families, fostering resilience, independence, and lasting change through compassion, dignity, and holistic care.

Transforming Lives Since Our 2020 Beginning

Ruth Sisters Transitional House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping vulnerable individuals and families rebuild their lives with dignity. Since 2020, we have supported men and women transitioning from incarceration or recovery, at-risk youth, and underserved families by providing safe housing, case management, employment assistance, and life-skills training. Through strong partnerships and community-driven programs, we foster resilience, independence, and lasting transformation.
